Serving Quietly
There are other ministries which are a bit more personal, many who serve quietly on their own that you may not be aware of. The point here is not to point them out, but to let you know that if you are looking to serve somewhere, somehow on your own but aren't sure how... there is other serving going on.

Cleaning the Church - Every week, a couple of ladies come to the church to vacuum, dust, clean the restrooms, take out trash, mop, etc.

Lawn Maintenance - God has blessed us with two large grass areas which we maintain ourselves. Every couple of weeks one or two church members get together to mow the lawn, trim the bushes, etc.

Prisoner Letter Writing - Through the ministry of Voice of the Martyrs, prisoner letter writing kits are available to give hope to our persecuted brethren around the world. Books are available in the church office until they run out or please visit www.persecution.com for more details.

Visiting and Praying for the Sick - In our bulletin each week there's a list of individuals who have fallen ill, have been hospitalized, and who have requested prayer for various reasons. If God places it on your heart to make a visit, place a call, send a card, say a prayer, please do it.

Birthday Cards and We Missed You this Week - Every week someone gathers the names of our members who were unable to be with us that week. They are mailed a bulletin with an encouraging message. It is also a blessing to wish our members a Happy Birthday.
